Minecraft Shaders 1.17
With the Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update there are some new features. However, many players don’t want to explore the new stuff without mods. That’s why we’re going to present you the best Minecraft Shaders 1.17 that will make your world much more realistic. Unsurprisingly, there are some advantages that Shader 1.17 has. The biggest advantage are the great sun rays that are added. This will make you feel like you’re looking into the real sun, because it will look so realistic. In addition, the entire sky is significantly improved. Among other things, the clouds are no longer so squared. It has never been so much fun to have a look skywards. Furthermore, the night sky has also been changed a lot, but the highlights are definitely the sunrises and sunsets.
Without question, there is also a lot to discover with shaders in the caves. Finally, the caves have been generously expanded and improved in the Caves & Cliffs update. Most interesting for us are the Lush Caves, because there are small lakes there. This is because one of the main features of 1.17 Shaders are the realistic waves that you can see in each body of water.
By the way, for the best gaming experience you should also make sure to download and install a texture pack 1.17. Everything is free of charge.
How To Install Minecraft Shaders 1.17
Basically, it can be said that shader packs are compatible with any game version. The only requirement is that the shader mod for 1.17 is available. However, this is not too much of a problem anymore, because this mod was added to Optifine a few years ago. Accordingly, you only need Optifine 1.17 to be able to install a Minecraft shader 1.17. You might not be familiar with the installation process yet, so we are happy to help you with a tutorial.
- First of all, you need to install Optifine on your computer. This mod is a JAR file and can be opened with Java. This makes sense, because all shaders are for the Minecraft Java Edition.
- You will find some new settings in the Minecraft options after you close the installation wizard. Click on “options”, then on “video settings” and lastly on “shaders”. Here you can make some changes to the gameplay.
- Now comes the most important part to install and add shaders 1.17 to Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update. At the bottom left you will see the shaders folder button, which opens the storage space packs. In this folder you need to move the shader of your choice so that you can activate and use it in the game.
Shader Download List
For the future, it can be said that even more new blocks, items and mobs await you in the second part of Caves & Cliffs. The 1.16.5 version only fixed a few bugs, so many are looking forward to the upcoming updates. Anyway, you should first take a look at the redesigned caves, because they are really special. You’ll have a lot more fun exploring them thanks to our shader download list. Our compilation is very diverse and there is something for bad computers as well as for good computers. Therefore, it is no problem at all if you only have a potato PC.
The shaders from our list work best with computers. Accordingly, there should be no problems with Windows, MacOS and Linux. Unfortunately, this also means that the 1.17 shaders, without third-party programs, are not available for MCPE and Bedrock Edition. This is not a problem for the Windows 10 edition because real-time ray tracing is available there with RTX graphics cards.
Fortunately, most of them are free, but there are exceptions. However, we advise you to pay money only in absolute exceptions, because there are really many high-quality shaders that are completely free.
