Bloop shaders are a graphics modification that runs smoothly on all devices. To achieve this, it includes different presets such as Ultra, Medium, and Low, allowing you to switch between them easily. This means you can enjoy realistic Minecraft shaders without sacrificing high FPS. The settings are also beginner-friendly, and installation is much simpler compared to mods like Euphoria Patches. All download links are free and can be found further down. First, this description will provide you with all the important details, followed by some screenshots. By the way, the predecessor of this project was called Loop shaders and was also developed by Espen96.

The most noticeable change is the new shadow system that Bloop adds. Unlike before, shadows now look realistic and even work with objects in the distance. Distant blocks remain sharp, so you may want to slightly lower your render distance to avoid lag. Ambient lighting has also seen significant improvements, as light rays now spread more naturally indoors. While it’s not as breathtaking as ray tracing packs like Soft Voxels or MollyVX, it’s still impressive. One particularly eye-catching feature of the Bloop shader pack is the subtle background blur when looking at things. This effect, known as depth of field, is widely used in photography. It enhances focus on elements like animals when you approach them. Additionally, animations for leaves and plants create the illusion of a gentle wind, making the environment feel more natural and less static.

Another highlight is the reflection feature, which makes glass and water reflective. It’s almost like a mirror in Minecraft, where you can admire your skin or see the sky. The clouds are fluffier than usual and resemble those in the Nostalgia shaders, with rounded edges instead of rough white patches. If you’re only interested in sky enhancements and don’t need the other features, you might want to check out the Dramatic Skys texture pack, which focuses solely on the sky.

However, like everything else in the Bloop shader pack, this mod is not compatible with MCPE or the Bedrock Edition. The project is built exclusively for PCs and laptops. If you come across a port for another platform online, it’s definitely fake. While this is unfortunate, Bedrock simply doesn’t support such add-ons. On the bright side, Bloop is compatible with the Distant Horizons mod and the Physics mod for the Java Edition. The first one is especially valuable, as Distant Horizons is a must-have for realistic landscapes. However, you’ll need an extremely powerful GPU since it significantly increases render distance. While Bloop shaders itself can run on an integrated graphics card, mods like Distant Horizons require high-end models such as the RTX 3090.
