Maybe you’ve watched a YouTube video of Technoblade playing SkyBlock, BedWars or SkyWars. This review is about the Technoblade texture pack for Minecraft. The American YouTuber has played in the aforementioned mini-games with his own texture pack. Needless to say, his fans have taken notice of this pack. However, it is still difficult for many followers to find out the name of the pack and a download link. That’s why we scoured the entire internet and finally found it. The original Technoblade texture pack. To be honest, the search turned out to be difficult, because many gaming forums had wrong answers. This is not surprising, because the streamer himself never posted a link to the pack. We don’t know why he doesn’t do that. After all, the demand has been extremely high for years.
Now you will learn about a few features of the pack. Foremost, you should be aware that this is a PvP resource pack. Accordingly, it is primarily designed for multiplayer. Furthermore, the Minecraft fire has been reprogrammed to be lower. As a result, you’ll keep an overview even in stressful combat situations. This low fire feature is very important for Technoblade, especially on the Dream SMP server. In addition, the entire GUI is transparent.
There are also new textures for the sky, as you can see on the screenshots. However, compared to similar custom sky texture packs, it is nothing special. More noteworthy is the fact that the pack is compatible with the latest Minecraft version. On top of that, you can look forward to outlined ores, which will make it easier to find the ore blocks in caves. The crosshair is included, but it is unchanged. Unlike that, the swords are a real eye-catcher. They are a bit smaller than usual and have cool color gradients.
By the way, the pack is also known as Tightfault Revamp Edit. However, it only gained popularity through Technoblade, which is why we only mention this name in passing. Don’t be surprised if the downloaded file is called Tightfault. If you like YouTuber texture packs, we recommend the Wallibear texture pack. It has a similar structure and is also playable with the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition (MCPE).
All in all, the pack is more an overlay and not a full package. There are too many textures missing. This is common in this category, because the creators focus on the PvP items. This also brings advantages. You get higher FPS, no lags and the file size is smaller.
The Technoblade pack is compatible with these Minecraft versions: 1.19.1 – 1.19 – 1.18.2 – 1.18.1 – 1.18 – 1.17.1 – 1.17 – 1.16.5 – 1.16 – 1.12.2 – 1.12 – 1.8.9 – 1.8
The game may tell you during the installation that the pack was made for an newer or older Minecraft version. This is an error and you can still activate the pack.
