YouTuber AntVenom has uploaded many Minecraft videos in the past and after some time he realized that the normal vanilla Minecraft is too boring for him. That’s why he decided to create and publish his own FaithfulVenom texture pack. It was very important for him to realize his own graphic ideas and started with a basic change of colors. For example, the grass color was changed to make the earth block look less monotonous. Almost all the blocks and items had their colors changed to make them look more beautiful for you to look at. As a result, the environment no longer looks so gloomy. According to his own statement, AntVenom is an order fanatic and has precise ideas about how Minecraft should look.

Soberly, the textures are a revised version of the normal Default Pack. The name FaithfulVenom resource pack comes from the original Faithful because it is an edit of it and some textures come from this pack. One major difference is that AntVenom has made the GUI much darker. If you generally prefer darker colors in the GUI you should definitely check out the Dark Mode Pack.

Overall, FaithfulVenom’s goal is to improve the resolution while maintaining the vanilla Minecraft look. More specifically, the resolution has been doubled from 16x to 32x, which noticeably improves the quality of the textures. At this point, you might be wondering why the resolution isn’t 64×64. That’s easy to answer because the idea is that the texture pack shouldn’t deviate too much from the default pack. For this reason, the resolution difference is not too big.

Nonetheless, there are clear differences for you to see compared to the default pack. One big change is the sound pack, which adds back the old Minecraft sounds that you might remember from previous versions of the game. Also, 3D models have been created for certain blocks and make your world more realistic. However, only a few 3D textures are available, which is why we want to draw your attention to Default 3D, which is much better in this respect.

If the game notifies you that the pack is made for a newer or older Minecraft version, simply click “Yes” to proceed. The textures will still work perfectly.
  10. Click "Done" and all assets have been loaded.

Finally, you should know that the FaithfulVenom texture pack supports Optifine’s connected textures feature, which creates a smooth transition between the blocks. Particularly noteworthy here are the glass and the bookshelf because both of them are beautifully connected. As a result, you won’t see the unsightly lines between each block anymore.

This cool feature will help you make your environment look more stylish because the textures won’t be so blocky anymore. For the creator AntVenom, it is even the favorite feature of Optifine, which is why we also advise you to install this mod for Minecraft.
