With the free Minecraft Movie Addon, Mojang has achieved real success. This addon lets you dive into the world of live-action film and feel like the main character Steve (played by Jack Black). New Weapons in the Minecraft Movie Addon
Although Mojang usually doesn’t like adding guns or other dangerous weapons to the game, the Minecraft Movie Addon makes an exception. After installing it, you can use a variety of attack instruments.
It starts with the spear, which you can throw for ranged attacks. This weapon is also great for blocking enemies when they try to hit you. You can craft the spear at a workbench using two sticks and any resource of your choice. It’s especially useful against Creepers, as it allows you to fight them from a safe distance.
Another powerful tool is the battle axe, which delivers a strong knockback. For example, if you hit zombies with it, they’ll get launched backward. This makes it easier to keep annoying attackers at bay by sending them flying.
The Buck-Chuckets is a quirky weapon because it swings constantly and looks hilarious. You can craft it using iron ingots and iron nuggets. When you hit something with it, different things can happen, making every attack unpredictable.
The Staff of Dominance either summons small fireballs or charges up for a powerful explosion. The fire blast looks like a flamethrower in Minecraft. This staff is definitely more powerful and useful than the previous weapons, capable of causing massive destruction in a short time.
Things get funnier with the Potato Launcher, which fires Tater Tots or Ender Pearls. Charge this weapon longer to increase its range. One potato yields four Tater Tots, which serve as ammunition. However, keep in mind that Tater Tots in your off-hand will be used first. If you load Ender Pearls instead, you can use the launcher for teleportation. Compared to the other weapons in this expansion pack, it doesn’t deal much damage, making it less effective in combat. However, it’s great for goofing around. Fun fact: a similar item exists in the Java Edition with the Create Mod.
New Mobs
Movies would be nothing without their diverse characters, which is why the official Minecraft movie includes plenty of them. You might already recognize many of these mobs, but in the Warner Bros blockbuster, they look slightly different. By the way, you can also customize your skin because the mushroom hat from the movie is now available. It can be crafted using three mushroom blocks in a triangular shape.
During the war between the Overworld and the Nether, you will encounter a variety of enemies. One that seems relatively harmless at first is the Drum Piglin, whose drumming strengthens the other Piglins. After doing the same for himself, he will start attacking you.
The Pickaxe Piglin constantly swings his pickaxe at you. You should be careful and use one of the new weapons against him. If you defeat him he will drop his pickaxe and you can collect it.
In contrast, the Hammer Piglin always strikes you with his hammer. Occasionally he also performs a special ground slam attack. This can take away a lot of hearts if you are not wearing strong armor.
The Spear Piglin stabs players if they get too close and throws his spear from a distance. So it does not matter whether you keep your distance or not he will attack you.
The Torch Piglin sets you on fire quickly and just wants to watch the world burn. If you defeat him you will get torches that can help you light up the Nether.
The Warrior Piglin always carries a long sword. He looks intimidating and strikes quickly with his sword. This warrior is also quite sturdy and will not go down easily.
One of the most impressive creatures is the Piglin General. He plays an important role in the movie and knocks you back with his saber. Occasionally he uses his nasty slingshot attack which only he can perform. For this attack the general spins several times before delivering a brutal strike.
The Chef Piglin fights for his life with a butcher’s cleaver and drops random food items when defeated. He is a true butcher always looking for his next meal. Hopefully that is not you.
Things get truly dangerous when facing Malgosha a major boss. Similar to the staff of dominance he summons fireballs and sweeps away nearby opponents. To make things even harder he also calls in reinforcements making him as difficult to defeat as the Ender Dragon.
Great Hog is the final boss in the Minecraft film mod. His punches poison you and he also fires explosive fireballs from his arm cannon dealing massive damage. The Great Hog as he is called in English is much larger than you and covered in gold. If you manage to defeat him you will rule the entire Minecraft world.
Despite all these hostile enemies there is at least one new friendly NPC a merchant who resembles the wandering trader. He spawns with two leashed llamas and sells battle axes spears the buck chuckets and tater tots everything you need for playing with the Minecraft movie addon.
